Caroline Garcia made history at the Western & Southern Open, becoming the first qualifier in tour history to win a WTA 1000 title. The 28-year-old Frenchwoman will return to the Top 20 after capturing her 10th career title and third WTA 1000 title, after defeating Petra Kvitova in straight sets.
