Caroline Garcia became the 1st player to ever win the Wuhan-Beijing double, backing up her title run at last week's Dongfeng Motor Wuhan Open with an even more impressive win at the China Open, where she defeated two Top 5 players to win the biggest title of her career.
With the win, the 23-year-old will make her Top 10 debut on Monday at No.9 and has put herself in pole position for the final qualifying spot for the BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore presented by SC Global.
Garcia joined the podcast after her win over Simona Halep in the final to discuss just how she's been able to win 11 straight matches, what making her Top 10 debut means to her, and she recounts the conversation she happened to have with Konta in Tokyo three weeks ago.
Let's just say few expected Garcia to do what she's done over the last fortnight.
